That is it. I love roleplaying games but I don't get to buy many - they all have a high spec and high price. :wail:

I have Baldurs gate SoA, Morrowind, NWN, Darkstone, and a few less well known RPG's. Morrowind rules them all imo. :D

All the BGs and IWDs, Fallout 1 & 2, Diablo I & II, Dungeon Seige, Torment. These are kinda role playing in nature; Septerra Core, Jagged Alliance 2, Arcanum, Throne of Darkness, Soulbringer, Lords of Magic and Star Trek Away Team. I also have all the expansion packs and most mods for the BG Games.
My favorite is Baldur's Gate, great story line. I also like Star Trek Away Team, well, just because I am a Star Trek geek.

    - Baldur's Gate + ToSC
    - Baldur's Gate II + ToB
    - Icewind Dale II
    - Neverwinter Nights

Also Diablo and Diablo 2 - But I don't count that games as RPG'S

My favorite is Baldur's Gate (I and II + xpacs) - because I can feel interaction of party members there - and due to good background story I can also feel PC, "be" PC.

    Too many!

I'm an older gamer and go back to Zelda on the NES in 1985!

    100s since...

I'm playing through BG2 now so that's my favorite of the month. ;)

    All time greats...?

    Lunar (1 and 2)
Final Fantasy (1, 4, 6, and 9 stand out to me)
    Might and Magic (6-8)
    BG1 and BG2
    Final Fantasy Tactics
    Dragon Warrior (any)
Arghhh... My head hurts thinking about all the great games over the last 17 years!

Blimey, I couldn't list all of them.

Still, FF7 on console, and BGII on PC.

Morrowind comes close, however, but BGII had me playing it so much longer.

I can't believe in all these lists so far that nobody has yet mentioned Xenogears, which IMHO is the best of them all. Best story, best design, best graphics, best music, best gameplay... in my little 'video game golden globes', it takes home every award.

I have original copies of the following games, and when I wrote this list I was scared of how much money I've spent on computer games.

    Might and Magic IV
    Might and Magic V
    Might and Magic VI
    Might and Magic VII
    Baldur's Gate
    Baldur's Gate II
    Icewind Dale
    Icewind Dale II
    Planescape: Torment
    Neverwinter Nights
    Fallout
    Fallout II
    Diablo
Diablo II (with Lord of Destruction)

Might and Magic VI was the first CRPG I ever played, and Might and Magic VII is the coolest CRPG I've ever tried.
