What are your abselout favourite non pen and paper (i.e. comuter, console) games?

    Mine are:

Jedi Knight, a SW game made back in 97, I still play it though the expansion pack was no good in my opinion...

The civ series, Some of the best strat games I've ever played!

    AOE series, as above...

Anything by Black Isle :) (though I'm yet to play the fallout series...)

Final Fantasy 7, by far the best of the series, definitely one of the most compelling RPG I've ever played...

Rouge Squadron, lovely graphics and exceptional gameplay, no muti though :( .

Betrayal at Krondor and Planescape: Torment are *the* best games I've played through and through and through. The rest of my favourites (in no particular order) are Might and Magic 6 & 7, Fallout 2 and the Baldur's Gate series (including add-ons).

fighting games: street fighter alpha 2 (2-D) and soul calibur (3-D).

both in the arcades- ALL beat'em-ups should be played in there! it's cool to be able to completely destroy a total stranger when they challenge you. more social!

  14. [IMG] No way! Tekken Tag Tournament! On the PS2 it has that really fun bowling game too. As for 2-D, Mortal Combat Trilogy (and the films and TV series are great too).

OMG I forgot one of my biggest ones... Faery Tale adventure (2). These are both great fun games though most won't have heard of no.1 (only avaliable of the old Amigas, I've still got a 500+). Even fewer have probably heard of no.2, it was never even finished :( . The thing I really loved about them was that there were no defined quests, you could go where you wanted, when you wanted (mainly). In other words, it was completely non-linear :) ... Thanks for the replies,

    Cheers, Void

Tons of great games out there, but these, I would say, are the best:

    PC:
    Baldur's Gate 1&2 (of course)
    Fallout (1)
Worms 2 and Worms Armageddon (great games!)
    Civ 2&3 and similar games
    Master of Orion 1&2
    Warcraft 2!
    Arcanum

    SNES:
    Super Mario Kart!
    Zelda 3
    Final Fantasy 3
    Secret of Mana
    Street Fighter 2!
    Starwing

Edit: I forgot Zelda: Ocarina of Time for Nintendo 64. Marvellous!
