[IMG] Just an FYI I figured out on my own after a *grumble* rough time with the undead in Hrothgar's Glen...

The Every God Ring (wis +5) prevents your priest from turning undead. The description notes that it may cause problems vis-a-vis the priest's diety. Even the undead ward spell didn't work with the ring equipped.

    Q. Are there any other ill effects to be had with the ring equipped?

[IMG] Hmmm... My priest is a Chaotic Good Shield Dwarf Priest of Lathander... Not sure what the critical difference is, though...

Turning undead is a factor of your Charisma. Do you have a high Charisma?

[IMG] Oops, I forgot that I started this thread... I could be wrong, but so far it looks like charisma only affects the number of turnings your paladin/priest is able to make per day (or perhaps until you rest); the strength of the turning seems to be strictly level dependent. It looks like the Every God Ring (as per the warning) prevents diety-related actions. I haven't tried lay on hands, lathander's renewal, protection from evil, or any other paladin/priest powers with the EGR equipped... Anyone notice any other problems w/the EGR equipped?
