[IMG] I have played the first chapter with other parties before. And now when asking Elytharra (wife of Ulbrec) to identify the flask and spell all I get is the buy/sell interface.
I know that this is a bug. How can I get around it? Tips? Tricks?

    Truly desperate,
    /mattek

[IMG] Its the scroll that you find on the goblins and flask that is supposed to hold the "ghost tear". They come up as valid dialogue options but when clicked they bring up the buy/sell interface.
    Very strange.
I do not want to reinstall or upgrade as that will destroy my other games and saves.

    Please help!

Shouldn't that be correct? You ask her to identify the flask, she opens up her buy/sell interface, which also includes indentifying service.

i am not really sure because i never asked any npc to identify items for me.

From what I recall, that's what she does. She has an identify service, 50gp, so when you ask her to identify both the flask and the scroll, her buy/sell identify screen comes up. Least it always did for me.

Strange. I'll have to look again. She did it for free without the buy/sell interface last time I played (with an other party). Maybe it's a Charisma/Diplomacy related issue.

Thanks all for your help! :)
