    [IMG] Help me please
I am on my second Fell Wood task and have been told to go extinguish some ghost lights
    now I have three questions:

1: are these those Will o the Wisp things?
2: if so how do you kill or otherwise 'extinguish them?
3: if not then what are they.

IIRC, it's the Will o' Wisp's that is the ghost lights.

And I just hacked on them to kill them. Protection from Electricity was very helpful.

Find Carynara and make her tell you the directions to the heart of the forest. The will-o-wisps can be pretty tough, because they are constantly dealing electricity damage and they don't give you much chance to summon creatures. Protection from Electricity is valuable here, but other than that it's hard to magic them, so justt hack them and quaff potions until they all die.

Will O' the Wisps are ghost lights indeed, but harmless. Although the ghost lights you need to destroy to complete the quest are three (or four) specific ones, Witch Light, 2 Death Candles if I remember correctly. Those are dangerous, you can see good advice above.

The Will o Wisps ARE the Ghost Lights
Just get the pause on sighting enemy / target lost options for this fight.
Those damn things keep disappearing when you hit em.
    Then just hack at them.
