Well open Winamp or other mp3 player in the background and fill the playlist with songs you want to listen. Press play. Open IWD2. Go to options screen in the game and mute the IWD2 music (or just set volume to zero). And there you go.. good pop music on the background and you can still hear the game soundeffects.

That is a good idea, but i disagree with the fact that you said pop was good. werewolf, you can normally just put in a cd into the drive and hear that, but that would mean not using the IWD2 play disc. I dont know, but if the game only does a cd check at the beginning, then take it out and then place your music cd in the drive.

If the question was ment to be: "how to rename mp3 files and where to place those, so that IWD2 plays them?", then your answer is - nohow.
You need to use WAV, ACM or WAVC format. IWD2 engine (to my knowledge) can't play mp3 files.
