    [​IMG] ive heard so much about Icewind Gate (2?), so does anyone know when its gonna be released? and do you put it on ID2 or BG2?
    By put on i mean apply the mod to...

    The mod will be applied to BG2. So BG2 will have IWD2's interface and gameplay, as well as the 3E rule implementations and Infinity Engine modifications. At least, that's what I understand of it. As for an ETA, I haven't a clue, but it'll probably be a while yet.

    I hought it was a mod for IWD2 that used the BG2 story. Maybe I just misunderstood....

    According to Wes Weimer's website they are currently beta testing it. From the look of the bug reporting forum they still have quite a few kinks to work out.

    Also, as to which program the mod is applied to, Wes' site says that they are converting the BG2 content to the IWD2 engine, thus I would assume that IWD2 is the program that you will need to run it.

    From what I've gathered it's just BG 2 with IWD 2's rules so I doubt you'll need to have IWD 2 to run it.
