    Im trying to write custom AI scripts but having some troubles with getting certain conditions right.

    what i am trying to do is set it up so that the character attacks any visable enemy mages when i press K

    then way i have it at the moment is:
    Code:
    IF
    	HotKey(K)
    THEN
    	RESPONSE #100
    		See([ENEMY],MAGE)
    		Attack(([ENEMY]MAGE),MELEE)
    END
    any help would be apperciated, thanks

    ======================================

    IF
    HotKey(K)
    See([ENEMY],0)
    LevelInClassGT(LastMarkedObject,0,WIZARD)
    THEN
    RESPONSE #100
    EquipMostDamagingMelee()
    AttackOneRound(LastMarkedObject)
    END

    ======================================

    This should work. Have a try.

    Which compilation tool did you use? Did you select the correct type of compilation? It is a little different from BG2's grammar.

    Ok i think half the problem is that im using a script compiler for IWD1 not 2 <_<

    Any hints on which one to use that will work with 2?

    NearInfinity compiles IWD2 scripts - never tested it to see if it worked though.

    Of course there is also WEIDU...

    Fel's a he, not a she.

    Weidu would be better suited than Near Infitiny, IIRC.

    where can documentation about IWD2 scripting be found ? (tryng to build myself some self buffing scripts )

    edit
    found something :D
    http://iesdp.gibberlings3.net/

    ...
    hmm - i recompiled weimer solafein party and solo autobuffs from BG2 to IWD2 and they almost worked :D . With a little more tinkering i should have what i want in no time :D .
    ...
    success !! :D it takes about 2 min for the long time buffs and 1 min for the quick before battle buffs and all i have to is press two keys and watch my party buff itsef to insane lvels :D

    ex : - 3 attacks, 55 AC, 30 all saves , 20 spell rez DG Monk :D . - too bad haste will not last very long but in time it will slowly improve :D .
