There is at least one thread around this quest. It was discussed with detail there.

[IMG] The first time I was fighting them nothing worked not even the protection from electricity spells. This is beacuse as soon as your about to hit them or do they disapear. The only thing that worked for me was goining back to the city buying evryone a missile wepon (poficient or not) and at least 2 loads of ammunition. Evryone should be equiped with missle wepons and shoot the same orb at the same time and it should die eventually.

There's one "ghost light" that has a name different from the others. use your protection from electricity and concentrate your attack on that one. You'll make it through o.k.

[IMG] Hi there. I'm new around here and am still working on finishing IWD2. Currently I'm still running around Dragon's Eye.

Anyway about the ghost lights....i just had my whole party sit at one corner of the map and wait for the ghost lights to become visible. When they show up i order my whole party to attack it. They should dissapear after you hit them at least once. I used that time to either heal or hit another one of the lights around. Repeat till all 3 are killed. It worked for me. Hope that helped.
