    Gamespy Arcade is free...no payments necissary as far as I know. It comes on the BG2 CD's, you can find it in the BG2 directory on your computer.

    The version on the CDs is long outdated by now, so you'll probably need to download the newest in any case. But yes, there should be a free option available.
