I find that using a Stalker feels the most natural to me for some reason. I'm not sure why it just feels normal.

The least comfortable is Cleric, I'm not sure why, it just felt weird. I got out of the cage in Irenicus's dungeon, and felt like I needed to change my character.

Stalker or generic Ranger for me, followed closely by Assassin. All three are adept at fighting and sneaking, getting into the right position to start the battle or avoiding it outright. None of them I'd call power-characters (although the Assassin can be downright broken used correctly), but playing as one (in BG2 or PnP) comes naturally.

Cleric and Paladin don't feel right to me - too simple, too "holier than thou" for me (although I'm sure some on these boards and plenty more besides would disagree). Every party needs at least one (un)righteous stiff upper lip, but that's what Keldorn, Anomen and Viconia are for.

Bard, mainly Skald and Blade. IF I want more of a fighter I will use a Ranger (or Stalker). If I feel like a bout of divine magic then I will use a Fighter/Druid.

Fighter or Paladin. Never tried ranger, which is kind of sad. I should try that next time, never played cleric either, there is just something that bugs me, with a child of Bhaal worshipping another god.

I prefer to use two classes:mage,barbarian(half-orc).
Mages power is awesome in BGII.
Barbarian Half-Orc after completing BGII SoA is almost unstopable!

Do you mean most comfortable roleplaying, or most comfortable powergaming?

    If roleplaying, Fighter/thief.

    If powergaming, Inquisitor.

Both roleplaying and powergaming I would say palladin. I like the normal thief for roleplaying.

Thief because I'm paranoid about getting through traps safely.

Ranger mostly. I am partial to a bit of thievery from time to time though.

Wizard. I like arcane spellcasters, and for some reason I like wizards more than sorcerers.

Monk is too exotic for me; I've tried it only once or twice.

My choice is Bard - preferrably blade. Second is Mage or Sorcerer.

Least is Pure Cleric - I don't feel my being the protagonist if i'm a cleric.

    Jester and Avenger.
Playing a bard will never ever get boring. He has many uses, like his lore. Which my Avenger-lead party could use right now. Funny how you find dozens of Identify scrolls when playing a bard, but when choosing an other class there are so few. :/ My hiding place is full of unidentified stuff.

As for Avengers and kicking the ass of anyone harming nature. How great is that? Plus his spellbook is one of the best in the game, in my opinion.
