    [​IMG] Yes. I managed to download it just before www.bioware.com went down for a while.

    I gave the patched ToB a trial run and everything works fine. But according to a friend, Bioware did not fix the dual wield bug.

    OTT, it works.

    [​IMG] Fortunately I had no problems starting the download today and according to Getright I should get the patch within 25min.

    BTW what is that dual-wield bug all about??? It's pretty important to me as I have dual.

    The scoop:

    Clean install of ToB/SoA
    Patched
    Rebooted
    Created a fresh new character
    Saved the game
    Added the Celestial Fury via Shadowkeeper
    Rebooted (just because, not a necessary step)
    Started the game
    Equipped plain Katana in primary hand
    Equipped CF in offhand
    Attacked the Jailkeeper Golem

    Unhasted/No Spin - offhand swung (the golem got stunned in fact)
    Offensive Spin - offhand did not swing.
    Haste - offhand did not swing.

    By not swinging I mean no recorded rolls indicating the (left) attack, no stun animation (despite 75% of the hits landing), not even the golem save vs spell roll. All of which WERE present in the unhasted/non-spin test.

    NOTE - I did not check to see how many attacks/round.

    *sigh*

    So the answer is:

    No, they did not fix the dual wield bug that was added with the expansion pack. A new bug, detrimental to many classes, unfixed.

    In the desciption, it says that it adds a Gold and Silver Ioun Stone in the game. Anyone know where?

    Thx for that link BG Fan. Now I'm really worried though I'll have to run a few tests to check if I have the same thing. I have no patch installed yet and as I borrowed ToB to a friend I'll run my tests in SoA. And I think it's really stupid to spoil something that there were no problems with.

    BTW I intend to ask the same question in BI forum, but in case no one checks that topic anymore, what's that thing with 'fixed' boots of speed all about.

    Another thing. As this latest patch is the first one I dl for ToB does it introduce all the things earlier patches did?

    Wildfire I don't know the locations unfortunately, I'd like to learn where these stones are myself.

    Yes, the latest file introduces all the fixes from earlier patches.

    So it's safe :)

    for other cool stuff.

    I have personally gone through them and the fixes are pretty good. At least, all of them worked for me.

    Thx again BG Fan. Nice site, I'll have to get some of those fixes. I had Bhaalspawn Powers fix already but it didn't work (though I installed it while being in the middle of ToB already so this might be the reason.
