    1. Greater Malison - No it doesn't, but you can combine it with the 1st level cleric spell Doom.

    2. You get a limited time to cast as many spells as possible. Spells have casting times so if you cast spells that can be cast quicker (such as magic missile) you will be able to cast more within the timestop. They take effect when time stop ends. Simulacrums cannot be controlled, just the caster - however, the simulacrum can be controlled if he cast the timestop himself.

    3. Not sure what you mean here??

4 Should be because they are summons bet I am not sure.

    5. No, as far as I can tell. Int increases the chance to learn spells and how many can be learnt for Mages and Wisdom increases the ammount of spells a cleric can use. If these are too low you get spell casting failure.

    6. If you get your Con to 20 you regenerate slowly - very slowly!##Hope that helps. :)

Malovae is spot-on. I just wanted to add a bit more clarification, if possible.

For #2, time stop behaves in a way that is counter-intuitive to some people. When a mage casts time stop, some effects will continue as if time is still running; i.e. spell protections and buffs for every creature (not just caster/non-caster) will continue to run and even expire during the time stop, and some damage-over-time effects such as Melf's Acid Arrow will continue to affect creatures.

For #3, do you mean "will a weapon help you hit with a spell such as Harm, which requires a to-hit roll to take effect?" If that's the question, then no, a weapon will have no effect. When you cast a "touch" spell a magical weapon is created in your inventory with which you must physically attack your target.

All summons are vulnerable to the death spell, except those who are magically resistant, and who are warded against it.

One clarification to the answers given to question #2. Casting spells that have a lower casting time does NOT increase the number of spells you can cast... unless you use Improved Alacrity, or are casting spells that take longer than one combat round to cast. This is because, unless you use Improved Alacrity, you can still only cast 1 spell per combat round. For example, Magic Missle is a very fast casting spell. If you fire it in Time stop, then try to cast another, your mage will sit there doing nothing until the next combat round. So you can't cast anymore Magic Missles than spells that take an entire combat round.

Creatures that are gated (pit fiends, demons, etc), however, are not affected by death spell.

In regards to #5, wisdom will only help a mage when he/she casts Limited Wish or Wish. The higher their wisdom is, the better their chances of getting good wish selections.

I thought high level summons like Deva, Planetar, and the Elemental Princes were immune to death spell. Is this correct

The Deva and Planetar are gated creatures and so are immune to the Death Spell. The Elemental Princes are summoned IIRC, which makes them vulnerable to the Death Spell. Never tested though.

@Scythesong Immortal: "bla, bla, bla [...] except those who are magically resistant, and who are warded against it." Well, there is a exception, you know? In fact, two of them. Nishruu & Hakeishar are both resistant to magic, but they can both be killed by Death Spell.

Death Spell does NOT affect Elemental Princes.

Death Spell is supposed to kill all low level creatures and summons, yes, but there's seems to be something wrong about MR. At times, it actually resists the death spell regardless of whether the target was vulnerable or not.

The reason why Death Spell and Death Fog can't kill Elemental Princes is simple: the Elemental Prices' gender (not sex, but gender) is Neither, not Summoned. ;)

Like MeatDog mentioned, death spell only kills summoned creatures. Since fiends and cacofiends are all gated, death spell has no effect.

Elemental princes are summoned according to the spell description, but it would be rather cheesy if a 6th level spell could instantly kill an HLA summon.
