Firstly let me introduce myself . My name is Dimosthenis from Australia .I am 32 years old .This is my first of many posts and i would like to say hello to all you gamers out there . Several years ago i remember playing bg2 and then ToB . Awesome isnt the word to describe finding this cool site ...you see games have come and gone for me but I always felt I had unfinished business with the pantaloons . I also felt that i was missing something by not being part of this epic story from the start . I have a few questions before i begin and I just know I have come to the right place to have them answered . Should I add the xp remover ? What are the advantages /disadvantages ? Should i add the dark side of the sword coast ? again advantages/disadvantages should i add the fast boots mod ? once again advantages /disadvantages ? Also when i played last i chose the standard fighter as my main dude. How would you guys suggest i setup my posse ( take into consideration that this time i plan to complete all games by importing my character in to each new game ,and remaning good in nature .)my dilemna is I dont want to be a fighter again but I dont wont the crom faeyr (spelling ??? ) to go to waste in bg2 and i plan to have keldorn there as well weilding that 2 handed sword ! I was so excited to see the darkest day mod !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! cant wait for that as well . If there are any mods or patches I have neglected to mention that will increase my enjoyement levels than please dont hesitate to mention them guys . thanks again for all your help . I look forward to getting to know you all in the future !

Well welcome to SP is all i can say!

the only problem is, i think you'd do a lot better if you were in the BGII ToB forum!

repost it there and then watch as gamers from all over swarm to answer your questions!

If you're playing a good aligned character you are going to have to do something nasty in order to get the silver pantaloons in BG2 which is really hard to justify for goody two shoes. ;)

    Welcome!
And if you want to play BG1&BG2 whit mods whit the same char i would suggest you to install Baldurs Gate Trilogy.
You just start a new game from Candelkeep and play all the way to ToB! Whit all mods included, and NO importing!

Well if am not wrong, Baldur's Gate Trilogy is a mod that incorporates the original Baldur's Gate plus the expansion Tales of the Sword Coast into Baldur's Gate II: SoA and then Baldur's Gate II: ToB.

Ohh, but I think you need all four game discs.
