*spoiler* (not that I'd warrent that you'd be concerned)
It is in Shadows of Amn in the south west section of the bridge district, near the lich door. The only castch is that you need a rouge stone to enter or else the door will come up with a "this door appears to lead to nowhere" type of message.
A word of caution though, it is very difficult to complete and I would highly advise you to make a save game straight before entering, right spoogemonkey :)

The Twisted Rune is in SoA. IIRC, it is in the Bridge District. In order to enter it, you will need to have a Rogue Stone in your possession. Warning: if you're low level, don't do it!!

<edit> Damn - beat me to it!

I advise not to visit that place without party with 14+ level characters on average. I managed to do it with a 9-12 level party, but it was really hard. (I always play according to true AD&D)

:Snort:, the fights beatable by a solo level 8 magic user. Bard or mage will do. Theres only one difficult opponent in this fight, if you have a party, and thats shangalar, and he isnt even a tough lich. Just trap up the area before fighting him.

Trapping the place is kinda cheesy. Thats like trapping Firkaags lair.

It is , but being a low level party, you pretty much have to cheese your way through that party ( especially the lich ). If you can beat that lich without cheesing, let me know :)
