[IMG] I just bought TOB and installed it. But when I try and do anything beyond the original Shadows of Amn I get a message saying. No disc in drive, insert expansion disc. I get this even with the TOB disc in. Has anyone had problems like this, and if they have is there a patch or something?

I have windows 98 so the patch on the newsboard help.

your problem is quite common in hong kong.........where illegally made games are common
look for a directory (commonly called crack) inside this dir, your will find another file, replace it with the one already in your win, that should work
    if not........

Yes, I had weird problems as well with the instalation of ToB. I had to uninstall everything and reinstall both BGII and Tob for it to work properly.

Funny, the opposite seems to have happened to me. I tried just continuing on from one of my latter Shadows of Amn games, but I got the whole "no dish in drive" BS. I thought I wouldn't even be able to play the game at first, which was sending me into fits no doubt. But I tried playing just in the expansion, importing a save game right before the final battle (one of mine, not the games) and everything worked out fine. Everything seemed to be right on my characters.
