Nalia's romance problem

Well I've been trying to install the old Nalia romance(not the one JCcompton is currently working on) and here's what he tells me :

I really don't understand since the file 'SETUP-LUVNALIA.TP2' is really in the same directory as the install-setup file as it was the case with all the other mods, I'm really confused as what to do on this matter. Any experienced modders/programmers can help ?


Anyone got any idea as to what to do ? As for the language issue/problem I really don't know what to say, I don't know whats the problem with that either.

What's with your installation order? Can you post it here? Is this mod WeiDu or not?

 

Yeah its the WeiDU version of the said mod. I installed the BGs like this :

Bg2
ToB
Official patch
Baldursdash patch
All the mods before that one(Edwin's romance, Kelsey, Xan, Kivan, Nalia's fix to switch her to a thief, Bg2 fix-pack, G3firstanniversary pack, Ascension, Banterpack, Ebg2, Item-upgrade, NPC-Flirt, Solaufein's mod, turnabout, unfinished-business, and Underrep, and then finaly Nalialuv for this specific mod).

 

It looks like the Weidu setup can't find the file that holds all the text information for the installation. These are called .tra files (translation files, as they hold all the text in one file, so it's easy to translate the whole mod into different languages without writing a whole new setup each time).

1. Go to your "LuvNalia" directory.
It should be in your BG2 installation directory. If not, the package hasn't installed in the correct place.

2. Check that "LuvNalia" has a folder called "Language". Check that "Language" contains folders called "English" & "Russian".
If these subfolders aren't in place then the package wasn't installed with its internal directory structure intact. Unpack in again but look for options in your unpacking software (Winzip, Winrar, etc) that preserve the folder structure the package was setup with.

3. Inside the "English" folder there should be a file called "setup.tra". If there isn't, then you've downloaded a version that used the old .D format for dealing with text. You can get the updated version (one that uses .tra files) at this address:

Now, I do not know if this version works perfectly, but I'm fairly sure it's the most recent.

Install either Baldurdash fixpack or Bg2 fixpack, but never both of them. However, this is not the cause of your problem with installing the Nalia romance mod, but even if your installation works successfully, you will surely face bugs during the game having both fixpacks together.

Yes.

However, Baldurdash fixpack cannot be uninstalled unless you uninstall the entire game and install it again, but you can uninstall BG2 fixpack without such a requirement.

 

I've un-installed BG2 fixpack, and I was able to finaly install the said mod. But thrs more problems it seem's...(deep sigh).The damn thing/mod won't work, 'cause Nalia never showed any extra affections/bater to initializes said romance.
