Ok, well, i easily got to lvl 5 of WK. The only problem is so far I am encountering Devil Shades. What are some tactics and/or spells which work. I know Negate Plain Protection works but i still need more help.
With the coloured blocks, what are the actual benefits of using the same colour and having to kill all those things? (that would answer the Devil Shades).
PS. I am most likely to ask more help concering WKlvl 5.
    Thanks

Depending on what level your clerics or paladins (if you have one) are, they can turn or outright destroy devil shades. The only drawback to that is it prevents your clerics from engaging in melee combat.

Mace of disruption will also take care of them as they have to save vs death. Mace of disruption +2 does the same thing, but also gives you protection from level drain.

False Dawn will also work, as will Sunray. If you have Daystar (long sword), it has the special ability to cast Sunray once/day. The sword itself also does double damage against undead.

Holy smite is always useful and, depending on your level, holy word will make the job easier. If you've acquired (or cheated in) protection from undead scrolls, that makes it even easier.

Tackling undead is actually pretty easy.

Level 5 of Watcher's Keep is the oen where you fight Demogorgon, isn't it? The devil wraiths are on the 2nd level.

the fifth level is where u need to go through three tests to get three keys isnt it????
and one of the test involves putting coloured balls into coloured pillars while fighting enemies...

Ok, Now ive finished everything. The cleric ability (which I never knew of, so cheers people) was brilliant.
I am up to Demogorgon. How the hell can you beat this thing? Beating him wont be too hard but all his little minions.
I really need help with this, if I could get rid of his respawning minions he'd be a piece of cake.
    Cheers

The only way you can get rid of his continuous spawning is to destroy him. There have been several threads dedicated to fighting Demogorgon, but as I recall, you need a +5 weapon to even make a scratch on him and he is immune to many spells mid- and low-level spells.

And for the sake of your party, do not cast time stop.

There are many, many ways of finding out how to beat Demogorgon on this site, so I'll make this piece of advice quick and cheesy: none of the cheap-kill strategies that you can use for the other hard monsters in the game work here (except for putting trap around his spawn point), so just try and fight him "normally." You'll need +4 weapons, though.
