Keldorn is supposedly "Lawful Good" (although he lies to other people eg. Anarg & Paladins; also actually states that Chaotic Evil Korgan has a place in the universe!) and he has no problem with slaying Viconia for no reason at all. So if I have a Paladin that kills Drizzt it does not make me bad and worthy of instant murder. Heck! He is accusing the PC of meeting and stealing his stuff when it is most likely not possible. We just murder Ust Natha in order to leave the Underdark and crash into Drizzt, so the mere sight of another Drow would probably make anybody's blood boil. Why is it that Drizzt is so "cool" when he should not even be in the game!

[IMG] I hate drizzt. I hate drizzt. I hate drizzt.
He is a stupid stuck up pathetic c**tish c**t. What kind of poonsy loser put him into the game?!?!? The games are on the bhaalspawn, not on some bloody ridiculous black elf who is determined on being.......good!!! that bloody mangy half brained good for nothing @&%^&#(*@%& ((@(*$%&@#*&!($ V($@# %T~~~!!!!!!!! (drowish for silly c**tish f**king c**ty c**tishtic c**t)

The only reason that he is in the game is because of forgotten realms. i have no intentions of reading the so called literature that they have created on him. I just intend on attacking him as soon as i see him for the rest of the games.

I hate him. That is why he should die.

what the hell is wrong with you!Drizzt doesn't even effect the outcome of the game.So what's this about hating him it's not like he steals your items or anything.

Your Lord And Master...not gonna insult you or anything, but how about just glancing at one of the Drizzt books before you start claiming unreasoning and undying hatred towards him? He's a good character. This is dangerously close to being moved to Booktalk, though, so I'll shaddup.

The only thing I wonder about with Drizzt in BG2 is, why's Wulfgar there? At that point, wasn't he being tortured by a tanar'ri? Eh, whatever.

I never kill drizzt, I think he s one of the best characters ever thought up. I also thought it was quite good involving him in the game. Its not every day you get to team up with the greatest pointy eared thing ever. His items aren't all that great either, well, compared to sum of the other stuff. JUstface it drizzt rocks

I have never seen the point in killing Drizzt. For me is like any other person in the game, but a little more famous. Elminster also appears in the game and I haven't seen everybody trying to kill him (must have earned much more respect).

In basketball games people want to see Michael Jordan playing there so... why not showing Drizzt and Elminster in Baldur's gate series?

[IMG] Hehe, I try to kill Elminster (or Terminsel) a lot of times... however since the game made him immortal (I think locked his hp when it's Near Death so you can never kill him), I figure I'd just let him go... besdies he's not "heroic good" as Drizzt so I don't dislike him as much ;)

Battling Terminsel is quite an experience though. First you need to make him turn red before he just walk up, talk, then disappear, which took me some tries. And then he just seems to throw obscene amount of spells at will, obliterating everything in no time. Very challenging, too bad he can't be killed

    [IMG] HEy Nova And Ark,

There is a damn good reason to kill Drizzt, and ELminster while your at it. They are just really bad vanilla characters that the people from forgotten realms demanded were put in. And when in Saradush, kill Volo as well. They are all just beefed up charcters that have no effect on the game. THe Jahera quests in SoA could have been finished without ditching Elminster in there at the end. And you dont NEED drizzt to kill bhodi.

If you read the manual, Drizzt is just alevel 15 ranger. I had trouble killing him with a level 29 Kensai. He is hard coded to do extra damage, has a speed factor of about 3 and hack weapons. The ones that you pick up, he isnt using. How else could you pick pocket them from him. Elminster is just a vanilla level 30-sumthing mage with dumb stats. But, it is nigh impossible to kill the bastard. I mean, Volo is a level 5 bard. Dumb!!!!

That is why i want them all to die. They are just a kick in the balls to go and read the books because forgotten realms will get $$ off it.

Wouldn't it be cool if Drizzt or Elminster (who i have never met - I haven't ever done the Jaheira romance, I don;t like her!) said in their dialogue with you...

'And by the way <Charname>, you can buy by books from $9.99 at all good bookstores'

    And your speech choices are:

    1) You're cool, Drizzt, please tell me more!
    2) Tell me the titles Drizzt, already!
    3) You and you books suck Drizzt... however, tell me more!
    4) I'm not much into books... tell me more!

Baezlebub, I have a simple question. Would you kill Legolas in a LOTR type mod or game?

Khazraj, you are a [snip]. That is a really mean mean mean question.

How can you compare that joke of pamphlet porno titled the drizzt series with a literature great like Tolkiens best work.

The answer would have to be yes, at least once. I would like to see what happens, just like i have killed ppl like nalia and jan. I love the reasction, but i most certainly would reload after wards.

    YOU [snip]

    [snip]

Someone ought to create a Mod where you have to kill Drizzt, his family, friends and fans, and then have to go to hell and kill them all again (bit like with Irenicus).

    That would rule!

That's the spirit Komei! I would play this mod so many times and enjoy it every time with Drizzt's blood dripping of my katana or mace and smashed brain pieces on the floor being fed to my dog....

To all of you drizzt haters out there

Drizzt rocks, he is just plain cool

Drizzt eats guys like Legolas for breakfast (don't get me wrong I actually hope they will do something together someday ;) .

I wonder what you would do if Artemis Entreri (evil) would show up in BGII

[IMG] Artemis would make a nice addition to my all evil party... (of course maybe I'll leave him alone to duel against Drizzt if he wished it. If he wins, I just come up and collect the loot, if he lost, I'll come up and beat up the already exhausted Drizzt  )

Did you know yu can use the console to get Arty in your party? (Urk... pardon the atrocious pun) and he can tank like nobosy's business...

    To do this:
    1. Enable the console
    2. Type: CLUAConsole:CreateCreature("Artemis")

He appears as a hostile and hides in shadows, so hit pause as fast as you can, then ctrl-q him to your paryt. He doesn't have a portrait, so I used SK to switch him one.

    (I wonder... nah, I don't... who cares?)
