I just started playing through ToB for the first time, I'm clearing out the sewers in Saradush and wham! my character gets changed into this weird fire giant thing. Anyone seen anything like this before?

    What happened?

Neat bug, hehe. Never seen anything like it. If you sleep, is it still there?

Unfortunately, I'm not sure we'll ever know. After this happened, my PC was unable to walk up stairs, pick up some items etc. Since I had just quicksaved a few moments prior, I reloaded the saved game. I tried to recreate the bug but without any success.

[IMG] Wow! What a bug! Your character is truly the child of Bhaal, no doubt!

Do you have the console enabled? If I recall correctly, if you press something (I think it is F8) with the console enabled, then your avatar will change, but the attributes will stay the same. This is possibly the cause of this...

[IMG] Indeed, most likely a bug of the console. If the console is enabled and you press F6 or F7, your avatar will change in a certain order...I believe that if you press F6 once, your avatar will be the "fire giant thing"

That must be what happened. I had enabled the console for something or other (don't remember what) and, by force of habit, likely went to press 7 or 8 to select characters but missed and hit an F-key. Oh well, it seemed cool at the time.
