I heard somewhere about an Acid Kensai, is that a kit or what?

Isn't the Acid Kensai the one that attacks you if you have CF with the tactics mod installed?

The Acid Kensai is indeed part of the tactics mod and is a specific character with a special acid based katana and NOT a special kit.

There's a custom "acid elementalist" kit that can be downloaded from Sorcerer's Place, if you are referring to that...

I think he's referring to Kuroisan, the acid Kensai from the Tactics mod. He's a level 13/14 Kensai mage with a sword that by comparison to CF is broken. It launches a Melf's Acid Arrow any time anything hits him, (spells, weapons, you name it) whether or not the attack or spell did anything. He has undropable versions of all your nice equipement. (Robe of Mirrorng, Ring of Gaxx, ect) He was made to make you feel like all the random monsters and fools dumb enough to attack as they're mercilessly slaughtered. Install him only if you enjoy getting your ass kicked, are a master of all the cheesiest of tactics, or don't plan on getting CF until you're reasonibly leveled, as you'll need them all to defeat him.

IIRC Kuroisan shows up if you own either CF or Malakar. Good luck beating him.

He is a powergamer's dream. You know when he's coming and can control it via the timing of getting Celestial Fury. The last time I took him on, my main guy was a fighter/thief. I had Vhailor's Helm set up, made a simmie with a bunch of scrolls of protection (acid and magic) covered a couple of melee guys with that (Keldorn with Carsomyr and my guy with CF, IIRC), kept everyone else out of sight range and beat the tar out of him. You have to do it a couple of times because he tends to run away, but the simmie means you essentially have unlimited scrolls of protection anyway.

His acid katana is ridiculous and throws the game balance out of whack completely. Not only does it do what was said above (it's also either +4 or +5, I don't remember), it's got a healing/regeneration function that makes trolls look slow. I would only keep it if you've got the Tactics Mod installed with all (or at least the majority) of its components. Maybe Ascension too.

I thought he was pretty easy to kill. I kept summoning fire elementals to attack him and take down his stoneskins. While he was busy fighting those, I took him out with two backstabs and one potion of invisibility.
