If you start with some weapons when you create a new character for ToB, can you still get the items from BG2? Also, what level do you start out at, and where do you start from? Thanks for the time!

  2. No, you can't start out with the items that you can only get in BG2. However, you do get a bag of holding with a whole whack load of equipement. And if I'm correct, you start out with 250, 000 exp. Either that or it's 2, 500, 000 exp.

Where do actually start in the game, and if you play through, can you get the items/weapons from SoA?

you start off straight in a new area and if you played the game thru from SoA, then you get everything you have on you from SoA

Well you get some good items from SoA in the bag of holding. Like the amulet of power and the hammer of thunderbolts +3

You don't get everything from SoA. Atleast in the loading screens of ToB it says you won't get the items your character was carrying in bag of holding or similiar.

Actually Pretendi, that is not quite accurate. If you play SOA all the way through, after you finish the final battle and view the final movie, you start at the beginning of TOB with everything you just had. All of the NPCs in your party keep all of their stuff as well.

If you have an SOA game underway (not finished) you can import that straight into TOB if you want. In this case, I believe you keep what you currently have but you can't go back to other SOA areas and get stuff there.

If you start TOB as a new game, you get a nice grab bag full of SOA stuff.

or you can export your SOA character and import him as a new one (i think you still get the bag of holding)

  10. You get the bag of holding if you don't mess with your characters after the scene loads.
