    What wierd/little known things have everyone found? Every now and then there's a secret area that i never knew was there. For example, a certain combination of riddle answers in spellhold (when you talk to the spirits round the table) sends you to a room with a gem machine where you can win some bracers of AC?.

    I think that happens whenever you get a riddle answer wrong.

    The Twisted Rune thing is pretty well known, but it's probably my only wierd thing I've found.

    Actually, that only happens if you give the last answer wrong.
    The other time you get sent to a pit with Shaguin.

    A pretty well known thing is that you get a key in one of the odd rooms around Firekaag's lair. This opens the secret door in the sewers where you get a very important hammer.

    There are portraits of two characters from the TV cartoon series Dungeons and Dragons in the back of the Adventurer's Mart.
    I wish their items were in BG2...

    And one of the imprisoned wizards in Spellhold goes on about seeing a dead man talking to a pillar of skulls in hell, a reference to Planescape: Torment.

    Good call, Goulum! I stared at the screen for ages when I first found that caged moose & squirrel, just chuckling & thinking "No, surely not..." But 'tis! :grin:

    What is the Twisted Rune thing? Just their house in the Bridge District?

    After you finish the Kangaxx quest (where the demi-lich form of Kangaxx looks like a floating skull), your journal says something about how in the future you should be a bit more careful in believing the words of a talking skull...

    Western Paladin: Yeah, it was supposed to be some quest thing, but Bioware never finished it.

    @SI,

    There's a bow in Trademeet and another you can build that come pretty close to one of those items. But alas, no clubs that cast Earthquake at will.

    I still think the Dungeons and Dragons cartoon characters in the Adventurer's Mart are the coolest.

    No stretching stick, wizard's hat of random spells (which starts casting the spells the user wants it to at higher levels), invisibility cloak (that works similarly to the staff of the magi), and shield that grants total immunity to damage either. :)

    What's the deal with Biff the Understudy? I was reading a guide somewhere that said the author "laughed out loud when I realized" what Biff did. But what does he do other than mess up his lines in Raelis' play?

    If you talk to character X, and character Y is also supposed to speak in the same dialogue, but for some reason character Y isn't there, then Biff will spawn and replace him...

    Actually, that was in BG. Guess they ironed out the flaws by the time SoA came out so they didnt need Biff to replace critical charecters. Biff in one of the in game jokes carried over from the original.
    Another is noober, the guy who pesters you south of the crypt in Trademeet. A similarly annoying neeber was seen in BG. Only this time noober gives you some "rocks" if you listen to him long enough. These rocks are actually enchanted bullets. :grin:

    Noober is far worse... At least Neeber was creative, but Noober kept saying "what about now?" about twenty times...

    The most fun thing to do is to wait for Neeber to ask "Do you have to study spells? Can I see one?" and then disintegrate him ]:->

    @Elwyn,

    I personally prefer to give him a working demonstration of the Polymorph Other spell. Now if only I could cast a permenent Spell Immunity:Abjuration on him to be sure it won't be dispelled . . .
