    Does anyone have a favorite god?

    Well, when me and my friend (he and I are both 13) go playing in the woods with staffs and stuff (roleplaying) we always play with a certain god being our focus. Whenever I play as Elwithral Irenicus, My god is Mystra, because Elwithral is a powerful spellcaster.

    So who is your favorite god(dess)?

    If I had to go with a deity from FR, I'd pick Tymora for the fortune and chance thing, but my all-time favorite is a tie between Chislev and Sirrion from DL.

    I like Fharlanghn, Shaundakul (gods of travel), Tyr (god of justice) and Selune. The beliefs hit me in the right spot, you know?

    It's a cross between Lathander and Torm and whoever is the human god whose domain is vengeance in the FR setting. Who is it anyway? I've found one for the other races but not for humans..

    All I could come up with for a god/dess of vengence in FR is Hoar (revenge, retribution and poetic justice), p. 97 FR: Faiths and Pantheons.

    Ah, gods of FR, one of my fav topics.

    Too many favs, so a short list is called for:

    1. Velsharoon, demigod of Necromancy, evil liches, and undeath.
    2. Cyric, god of murder, strife, and intrigue.
    3. Tempus, god of war and warriors.
    4. Kelemvor, god of the dead and death (hates undeath).

    Mask? pft! Sure he is smart and what-not, but not the smartest, and he is weak. There was a time when all he did was run away from this hell hound who wanted to kill him. Sure he was weak because Cyric stole one of his domains, but still a chicken :p .

    I like Tempos, but when I RP, I'm usually a Red Tiger barbarian, so the Red Tiger Totem (even though it's not really a god)

    I thought the various barbarian totems was aspect of Uthgar, the god of barbarians and under the guidance of tempos.

    Crom - Barbarians or Fighters
    Loki or Bast - Rogues
    Huorn, Cernunnos or Diana (Artemis) - Rangers or Druids
    Apollo - Bards
    Set - Assassins
    Thoth - Mages or Socerers
    Any - Clerics
    Monks I generally play as Shaolin-type so either Daoist or Buddhist and thus no god

    And in forgotten realms usually Helm, Tyr or Bane dependent on alignment

    yeah, just took a look at it and i definitely like some of the domains of lathander, torm and hoar. very selective of course, like i'd never betray a friend but don't care a fig for the country :p
