What fantasy novel series do you want to see as a DnD campaign?

We have the Wheel of Time roleplaying game, Star Wars, and other series converted to DnD 3E campaigns. But what else is needed? And am I the only dragonlance fan whom wants DL as a noninternet thing?
I would like LOTR DnD, possibly, an attempt at Sword of Truth, although that could be difficult.
    Any opinions?

  2. I would like to see David Eddings' the Belgariad, although there is less fighting and more diplomacy.

    [IMG] Discworld LOL!

  6. Margaret Weis and tracy Hickman's Death Gate Cycle would be an extremely fun campain to play in.

I'd love to see the Redwall series in a DnD campaign (as childish as it sounds  ). Elves would be replaced with anthropomorphic (sp?) squirrels, dwarves with moles, etc.

The only major, major problem is the lack of monsters in Redwall, and the fact that there's a negligible amount of the supernatural in it.

The world from "Memory, Sorrow and Thorn" by Tad Williams.
That and Feist's Riftwar world, though someone said that already. :p

Discworld? That would be a challenge, but I agree, Discworld DnD would be interesting...

I think the D20 system is too rigid for the fluid and often unpredictable Discworld. A freeform system might be better.

DnD cannot even attempt a go at Discworld? For DnD and Discworld fans, I for one, would like to see an approximate attempt. Although, I agree, Discworld really shines when in freeform formats such as Gurps, must try this one day.
