    Those are great! Rotfl

Have to tell you my great experience with doing tech support.

My boss got a laptop and had never used a puter before.

He pages me at my desk " Help!" he says "The letters on my screen have all gone weird"

i say " what do you mean weird"
He says " they have all gone squiggly"

I tell him " hold on that sounds bad i will be right there"

So i get to his office and you know what the problem was!! He had the italics button pushed in Word!!! OMG i laughed so hard with the other girls in the office!

Edit: Even I'm only 11, I'm still good with BG stuff. ***Spoiler for ToB***

My dad loads his game. There are 4 containers on the 5th lvl of WK.

Dad: Khuyen, what am I sopposed to do here?

    Me: Where are you?

    Dad: Over here.

Me: Oh go check the containers.

    Dad: Where are the containers?

    Me: Over there!

    Dad: Where?

    Me: There!!!

    Dad: Those things?

Me: Yeah, go pick up the stuff in it.

    Dad:>Picks up stuff< Now what?

    Khuyen: Talk to the circle.

    Dad: Where's the circle?

    ...You get the point...

    A story I picked up from tech-support when I did some work for an oil company a few years ago;

    "Helpdesk? My cup-holder's not working."
    "Excuse me?"
"Yes, the cup-holder on my computer is not working anymore."

Apparently, someone had finally closed the CD-ROM hatch on her computer...

[IMG] A lot of these tech problem are in many Dilbert comics and some of Scott Adams (Writer of Dilbert) books.

Another example is: People who ring up tech support to ask where the "any" key is.

Customer- Yes, uh, my cup holder broke.

Tech support-Um, you must be mistaken, our computers don't come with cup holders.

Customer-Well i pushed that button and it came out, so i placed my coffee on it and it just snaped off!

Tech support-(slaps face)Sir, you just broke your CD-ROM drive.
    ----------------------------------------------------------

Customer-Hello, i was wandering you could tell me how i am supposed to turn on my computer. I keep stepping on this petal it came with and nothing happenes.

Tech support- could you please discribe this "petal"?

Customer-Yes, it is split down the middle, but only about 1/3 of the way down, and it has a wheel type of thing sticking out of the middle of this split part.

Tech support-Ma'am, You are stepping on your mouse.

Customer-Yes, that is what it was labled as, now how do i turn on this blasted machine?

Tech support-Try the button on the computer. Not the monitor or the keyboard or the mouse, the computer.

    Customer-Ah, its magic!

    (customer is an elderly lady)

    LOL :)

No it's not me, I'm still off.. til 13 August... almost forgot that I work in the helldesk of an Internet Service Provider.

But qestions like: I cannot use email are common... just sent back the default Outlook Express settings...

Oh I forgot one thing... Search for the 10 differences... a real picture of me @ work!

Once I had a guy on the phone. With sad voice he told me that he had chatted for several hours. After several hours he discovered that he chatted on an American chatboard. He asked if we could make an exception for him, and make that he didn't have to pay. I said: off course you have to pay but it's not that much.

He thought what I said was sarcasm. He screamed: WHAT?!?!?! NOT MUCH? DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH IT COSTS TO DIAL 5 HOURS TO THE USA?

Took me half an hour before he was sure that he only had to pay local costs to phone, 1 dollarcent a minut.

Just an example..... smart people can ask a stupid question... but for 2 years I don't believe to "stupid people don't exist, stupid questions don't exist, only stupid answers" (like my boss told me) anymore.

Well still a week no work... leaving to Germany next week for 6 days....

When I looked at a picture closely, it seems that you are the big bro at military school in Malcolm in the Middle. And he looks good! I'd say you're about 18.

Edit: You really did that? I don't think have done that...yet.
