    [IMG] Gormenghast is a movie.
I was reading this magazine the other day and i came across the name Gormenghast so i decided to have a look.
It turns out that it is a movie about an ancient family of Groan that has been incarcerated for centuries in the vast crumbling castle of Gormenghast. The dynasty is threatened by the charismatic Steerpike who escapes his destiny as a kitchen boy. As Steerpike charms and outwits the eccentric inhabitants into submission, including the beautiful Fuchsia, only Titus, stands in his way. The Young Earl and his pretender fight a bloody duel against the fantastic backdrop of the disintegrating castle.
    Has anyone seen the movie?

Well this is my first post for a while (I've been playing Diablo II), Gormenghast the movie was actually on T.V. in Australia about 3 months ago. It's more of a mini-series than a movie. I thought that was where you got your name from.

[IMG] ive read the books a couple times because theyre really good, but the movie just blew me away, sure its weird, but i like weird movies, and the acting was superb, and unlike many other movies based on books, this one didnt stray from the stroyline. it was excellent in my opinion.

The one I've seen is a series by BBC and it lasted for four hours, split into four one-hour parts. Have it on tape somewhere... It was...entertaining. I'm still not sure if I actually liked it, but it wasn't bad. That's why I haven't put that tape to good use yet, as I'm still undecided whether to keep it or not.
