[IMG] I like Athkatla - I find it is more... logical than Baldurs Gate.

I can't explain, I suppose it is less cluttered, and everything is essential towards some point while in Baldurs Gate there were things mainly pointless and served as nothing more than a diversion or an annoyance. In Athkatla you feel inclined to investigate and help or to kick dirt in their face and steal their riches.

I'm going to have to also say Baldur's Gate. It really does seem more like a real city with history behind it. On the other hand, I definitely like how each district in Athkatla has an actual name, as opposed to trying to remember if the freakin Cloak and Helm is in the SW section, or the W section, or...

It was just easier to navigate Athkatla. Back on the first hand, I liked the music of BG better. So all in all, I'm going to have to stick with Baldur's Gate.

i like Sigil, but since that's not one of the choices, i'll say BG. too many vampires in Athkatla, and that level drain really pissed me off.

BG, more places to rob, more people, more stuff.

Eze takes out her laptop and starts playing M&M VI

Baldur's Gate. I don't really like Athkatla, except for the part about the strongholds.

Baldur's Gate. Many of you, again, explained it all too well. History, all parts represent whole city, and possibly the fact that baldur's gate compared to athkatla gives you a feeling you are in a huge village which is filled with interesting ppl with gossip, lotsa taverns to spread that gossip and of course, many interesting places to visit. athkatla has that all too, but the fact that you visit just a part of the entire city makes it kinda lame.

Quests aside, plz, bg came out before bg2. Designers had plenty of time and graphical and processor power, to think of better and more interesting jobs and locations.
