    Who's the coolest movie villain?

For me it's Lo Pan, the ass-kicking Chinese spirit.

Obviously, for me Iago. But Marlon Brando as Marc Anthony in Julius Cesar just kicks butt. And I consider this role as a villain role.

But, can it be you prefer Christopher Lee as villain ?

Agent Smith. Definitely Agent Smith. He is such a nasty badass villain that you can't beat him :D

Of course, from my point of view Agents are the good guys, but oh well...

(Yes, I am a pervy agent fancier... so what?)

Ah yes...agent Smith...one of the most sinister villians ever.

Magneto from X-Men is yet another awesome villian.

Most often some sneaky, intelligent, sly, arrogant, mischievous, little rat. Like that prancing dandy Cunningham in The Legend of Rob Roy McGregor.

Darth Vader. You just can't top lines like: "You have failed me for the last time, Admiral" and "Apology accepted, Captain Needa". All delivered in the deep bass voice of James Earl Jones, twisted by the speaking device and literally dripping with menace. Vader is THE MAN.

I love Kenneth Branagh's Iago; as far as I am concerned, Iago is the best villain in all English literature.

For film villains, it's tough to top Darth Vader, though Saruman came close. For looks, I take Lara Flynn Boyle from MIBII.

Others worth mentioning are Tee Hee from "Live and Let Die", Beloc from "Raiders of the Lost Ark", Edward Longshanks from "Braveheart", Kiefer Sutherland's characters in "Stand by Me", "The Lost Boys", and "A few Good Men", and Percy from "The Green Mile".

Hmmm...So hard to decide. I am going to go with Agent Smith (two of a mind here, huh Arabwel?). Like many good villains he has his weak side, which for him is his arrogance and over-confidence. But who could have blamed him? Up until after he already 'killed' Neo, an Agent had never been beat.

But other faves are Lionel Luther on Smallville (I know, not a movie), Darth Vader from some sci-fi movie I saw once, Master Program from Tron, Arnie from Terminator, and Paul Rieser(sp?) from Aliens.
