    In my town fireworks suck on the forth of july (independence day) because the sun never completely sets. The fireworks are always realy good on new years eve to make up for that. The sun sets around 4:00pm (16:00) here in the winter so it is realy dark for the fireworks. Its kind of screwed up here. Its never completely dark in mid-summer and you only have about 4-6 hours of light in mid-winter.

    I live in Anchorage, Alaska USA by the way.

    Happy new year! Had fun tonight.... much illegal fireworks... and they build a fire that reached 7 meters high... until the Fire Department spoiled it a bit... But when they left the fire was soon rebuild again :p

    I'm not gonna tell what I all drunk.... at 2 o'clock I cycled to "The Farm", it was actually a farm but now abandoned and 4 friends of me live their now.. there where about 50 people there so we had much fun....

    I cycled back at 6:30 in the morning (had to cycle 7,5 km)... I slept at 8 o'clock... and woke up again at 11:15 for even on 1 January, the helpdesk is open :p

    So I'm now at work... nothing to do.. 200 percent money.... everybody looks a bit sleepy. I bake eggs for my colleages...

    Tonight I'm gonna shoot some pool with a colleage who is a great pool player.. I also have a new years reception in The Cavern... and tonight I will try to get some sleep :D
