My friend had a professor named McBeth, which was close enough for him. Every time she entered the class, my friend would say "a drum, a drum, McBeth doth come" which annoyed the daylights out of the poor woman.

The principal at my school has the initials J.C., and given his ego, it's somewhat appropriate.

    -Mr Vogels
    -Mr Kaasbuik

I live in Belgium so I'l translate a bit. The last two mean 'Mr Birds' and 'Mr Cheesebelly'. Gotta say, the last two are Dutch teachers with typically Dutch names! (not Belgian!)

My old Enlish teacher's last name was Spooner, so he demanded to be called by his first name. He got absolutely LIVID if you called him by his last name... (In Finland being on first name basis with teachers is pretty usual....) And with a name like that, who wouldn't?

Then, I had a maths teacher named Juhani Fiskaali (Fiscal) and iirc correctly the meaning of that word, the guy was doomed to be a maths teacher...

If I remember more, I'll post them.

    (on a TTT high)

    [IMG] Mr. Cox - Tech

Sebastian Rougerie - everyone calls him different names, when we discovered his first name everyone sung "Under the sea" from the little Mermaid and we all reckon that he bought sexy underwear for his wifes BDay - he virtually admitted it. Then we discovered he had *found* a lesbian calander and we were teasing and arguing with him about it for half the lesson before we started work  Mr Rougy :p

Miss Sumner - not scary... well she is a bit... but the name, on a map I had drawn years ago and labelled a month before I had heard of her. She lives up to the country

Mr. Partridge for Phys Ed. Boy was he quick on his feet.

Mr. Wong for Physics. We all call him Mr. Wrong because of all the mistakes he makes.

Mr. Hammer for science. Very tough course, he laid down the law strictly.

Our delightful art teacher. She loved to fail every freshmen she's ever had. So, everyone refers to Mrs. Holloway as Mrs. Rollaway. let's just say that nickname fits.

My Agriscience teacher was named Ms. Byrd, which was rather appropriate. I also had a pair of first grade teachers named Ms. Cloth and Ms. Bun.
