    Sweet times past and lost but never forgotten!

    I was able to keep drinking, dancing and wenching for two weeks with not much sleep. Or to drink more of alcohol than I would normally drink of any and all liquids throughout a day. Without any preparations and without any washing down. And still be able to take care of the ladies properly.

    Two coffees for breakfast would put me back in order. And a fistful of olives.

    And what now? A bitter, old man. Aged 21. Having talked about marriage more than four times in the past three months with four different ladies. Damn it. Hmmm... seems there's a number of ladies willing to marry me so soon as they've frittered away their youth. Oh well, this makes me think what I've done with mine... Oh well again, the trouble is that, as a male, I will have loads to spend when they're fully done.

    In my mind's eyes, I see a cheeky, cynical and blase chevalier aged 40, experienced well beyond any sense and smart & wise much too much for his own good.
