    Def Lepperd
    Deep Purple
    U2

    Now my fave artists who are both non-metal (aah, nice music) and are both Japanese are Rikki and Castle Logical. :)

    [​IMG] | dont really like answering in these threads they are always strings of answers with no reference to any previous answers.

    However, due to my love of a particular band i will post.

    Dream Theater - all time favourite band - none come close. Not necessarily Metal but have metal bits/influences.

    I like most of the other metal bands mentioned above so won't repeat them.

    to answer to the above posts ;) : A lot of the bands don't seem to be very metal like. so what's the proper defenition of metal? everything that's quicker,gruntier than bon jovi? :p

    no,not really, there are many diferent types of metal as you probably know,the gruntier metal is either death metal or black metal but nu metal can be not so grunty if that answers your question
