So is anyone actually SURE if its only a chapter 1 thing or is it forever(not having a party, but instead hiring only 1 (thats right 1) henchmen that you cant even control for the most part).. and ya just need to hire ur help? (cuz from what my friend said) if ur a mage, ur a dead man... where as in BG2 u could be a mage and still have someone to do ur dirty work. (cuz if ur a mage u need a theif cuz im told there are tond of traps) and a mage + theif isnt a good combo for baddies

The whole wizard's getting their ass ripped on were in the old games where the physical ruled.

In Neverwinter Nights beening a wizard you have just as much chance as the next person. You wont get you ass beat this time around.

Also you can only have one henchman.(You would know this if you read the front page of SP. Very helpful in the NWN updates.) Yours only henchman you have little control over in this game to make it more real. They need to have a life too. Go to the front of SP for lots more info on henchmen. I do.

[IMG] IronEagle, this same question which you posted here: http://www.sorcerers.net/ubb/Forum6/HTML/000360.html has been answered. So why did you need to post again and ask the same thing? Don't do that. If you have something to add, post in your original post, don't make 2 or more posts on the exact same thing.

Yes, it's true that you only ever get one henchman. However, I'm currently playing a ranger. In addition to my one henchperson, I can summon an animal companion, and cast the spell summon animal, for a total of four in my party. Wizards can summon familiars, plus they can summon monsters, so they too can have up to four.

Yes, I do that as a level 10 sorcerer. A cleric hench(wo)man, a summoned Dire Bear and a familiar (rogue) Pixie :). Works like a charm.
