The ones i miss th emost are:

    Melf's Minute Meteorites
    Spell Turning
    and the various spell squencers

    Honorable mention goes to:

    Mordenkainen's Sword
    Incendiary Cloud

both spells have been tone down too much.

Well, considering how overpowered it used to be, that is kind of a good thing.

I agree, I did want to see the spell triggers. The new rules for stoneskin aren't as good as they used to be either.

true but there is others take for example. if your a mage and you have your protections all on. (premonition, greater stoneskin, shadow shield, elemant sheild, energy buffer, protection from spells, improv inviso., circle of protection from alignment.) if you got a fighter this makes you set till you gotta rest. but yea the offensive spells have been nocked down a bit. while some of the key defensive have been taken or changed( for the worse. but we got some good defensive in return. it up to you wether it was worth it...

I haven't played a spell caster yet, so I haven't really paid much attention to what spells are/aren't in the game. That really sucks about Melf's Minute Meteors! I *loved* that spell in BGII. It was the main-stay for my mage/thief character :( Is there anything similar?

flame arrow is different now, it fires multiple arrows according to your level (IIRC). i think it is to replace MMM.

This spell is not my favourite, but I would like to see it in NWN, it was such a classic spell for anyone who played BG, BG2 and so on and so forth, not the best spell but does anyone miss Agannanzers Scorcher? (check my spelling :) )

No it didn't, but Burning Hand K\kinda replace it. Doesn't AS range but does cover more area and is a great 1st level spell.

MMM was my favorite mid-low level spell. It work great against trolls.

Isn't there an ultravision spell that basically replaces the infravision spell? Anyway, they don't actually make darkvision that useful in the game.

I don't really like the new Horrid Wilting spell. That was a real killer in BG2. And yes I think I do miss MMM too...
