Yes, naturally he was a memorable character. I think we've all met - or we will meet - someone like Noober in real life.

(Almost) A stupid question. Who doesn't, after all?

Like Earl Grey mentioned, the question could have been "Who has not met a Noober in real life?"

Ah man, Noober. Everytime I play Baldur's Gate, I dread the moment I have to meet him again... :(

But seriously, when you meet someone like that, don't you juste want to lie on the ground in a foetal position and rock back and forth? Well, thinking about it, Noober (and all the noobers out there) is kind of like a bear. If you see one, take a stick, it the ground with it, move a lot and shout loudly to drive him off. If it doesn't work, try, as a last resort, to lie down, play dead and hope he goes away... :D

The best bit is how you can actually get some XP if you put up with him for long enough.

I remember that mother******. Even though I know you can get XP from listening to him I always kill him on sight. Same thing with Neeber in BG II.

Neeber wasn't nearly as memorable as Noober. Everytime he creeps up on me in trademeet I sigh and think "Oh yeah, him" No-one could ever forger Noober like that. He's ten times more aggravating.

Noober. Ah, the memories of how Edwin could cast a spell and plow him into the ground.

    The memories...

Uggh. Noober and Neeber, two of the most annoyingly funny characters of BG & BG2!!! I sucked it up, listened to them, and collected the xp. Plus, having a paladin in my party, throwing a pebble to kill them just isn't right!

[IMG] Ugh...that whole "heya" bit, repeated so many times... If it weren't for the fact my party's usually low on XP when I meet him, I'd answer those questions of his with a rock to the head.
Anyone else think he sounds like that guy in the Verizon Wireless commericals? "Can you hear me now?" Can't be that big a coincidence! LOL

[IMG] Ah...Noober, what a troubled young man, if only I had payed him my attention and not got Minsc to cut him in half. Little did I know (after reading a walkthrough) the little git was packing more experience than killing him, so I listened to his banterings, got the experience and walked off. Just before I decided to head off to the Gnoll Stronghold, I paused thinking "Why did I let him live?" and shot him for fun...oh well.

    ...oh and by the way...

    Heya.

I killed a rabbit, Im experienced now.

Are you going to throw stones at me?

    Hehe, who could forget Noober!?

This is not the last type of sentence he says, though. :)
