[IMG] I didn't need any light sources in the SP game, so I never tested this out, but I think I'm going to need one at night in certain places in ALFA since my half-elf only has low-light vision.

If I am in Stealth mode, but I have a light source (a torch or one of those light rings etc.) will I automatically be detected? I assume so since that's the logical thing, but I never tried it out to be certain.

Heh, well my monk went into stealth mode while carrying a torch all the time, and went undetected. Likewise later on while wearing a helmet that gives off light, he was similarly undetected.

    Stupid game.

    Now that's an interesting thing!

Does anyone know if in multi-player my torch/light ring/whatever will provide light for others around me, or will I be the only one to benefit from the light source?

I can just imagine in multi-player when someone in stealth walks by with a light source that all I'll see is this moving globe of light with nobody at its center...

Whoo, I know the answer :D

If you have a light source in MP, and are just walking around, everyone can see it. However, if you try sneaking, you and your light source both disappear (though it'll still be going on your screen). I'm guessing the same goes with Invisibility spells.

Yes, that applies to invisibility spells as well. Stealth is actually treated as a weak invisibility spell by the game.
