    Hi all,

I am thinking of starting a NwN game up again, but was wondering which is the most enjoyable/fun/powerful etc class to use, plus the best henchman for it.

I have completed the game once before and used a fighter with the dwarf monk guy (forgot his name!) as a henchman, but TBH it was kinda boring, so was really wondering which class you guys think is best? Would it be Sorceror, as is the general consensus in BG2?

Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated! :)

For me the funniest player is the cleric...
U can play as "mage" because of the various spells and be a warrior. Also i like to use no henchmen... try go alone ull see that its harder but better to learn all your char potential and weak points... making a harder pvp player... Try it out, you will like...

I played thru the original campaign with a elven monk and had a ball. There were times that I needed the henchmen and times that they just got in the way. I mostly took along the rogue for the magic ring that he could give me. I love a high dex monk! :)

What works best and is the most fun for you totally depends on your play style and what you enjoy.

I go with sapo, I really enjoyed my cleric. I even liked her more than my magician, although I normally prefer mages ! I also played solo with my cleric, and it wasn't that hard.

    I, like Sapo, didn't have a henchman.
I used a heavy crossbow and bolts with some elemental damage to let these trapped boxes explode. Worked realy okay.

    Clerics still are my favorites

For the chests you can do like Master of Nuhn said that's a really easy way to go but you, also, can use negative energy ray, searing light and (with air domain) call lighting that rocks for open two or more chests at once.
As long I use a cleric archer (1 monk 3 rogue and 16 cleric) I use acid arrow for most chests but for the strongest i use a searing light.( i take the trickery and war domain. improved invisibility is a must for my cleric archer).
