Just bought NWN Platinum

    Remove all ads!
    [​IMG] I just bought it used...Good deal, me thinks.

    However, everytime I've made an NPC or tried using one of the pre-generated characters, the game crashes right after I click the button once the Character Creation is over.

    Any suggestions on what I should do to get the game running?

    I just put on the patch from the nwn.bioware website, and my games still crash when I click OK, after I create a character or load a pre-generated character.

    It says: Neverwinter Nights has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

    Try running it from the game executable instead of via the launcher.

    Sounds to me like a patch 1.68 issue. I have it with some modules. There's been some such stuff with some patch versions and the expansions.

    [​IMG] I found out the installation error; I've corrected it, and the game is working great now!

    Thanks for everyone's help, and sorry for wasting everyone's time!

    I've only just started the game, and its already been alot of fun!
