    [​IMG] Can you make magical items in NWN, or did they mess that part of the game up as well??

    [​IMG] Are there any other places to have magical weapons created other than the dwarf guy in the city core?

    I'm in chapter II and I'm lugging around all these components and I have nothing to make with them!!!

    [​IMG] It's more accurate 3e than anything before on PC, and most likely will stay so for quite some time. Heh, what'd happen if people started complaining about BG series not being strict AD&D? :rolleyes:

    Obviously you can't transfer pen & paper to a CRPG directly without any modifications.

    [​IMG] there is a magic guild in chap 2 if you are a mage to create new stuff
    but not until chap 3 for weopons and even then it's basicly the same as chap 1
    I had a bunch of ingredients in 2 magic bags so i just droped the 2 begs and said %@$ this.
    although you need the odd ingrediant here and there for doing other things usually if you need it you can find it fairly close by.

    [​IMG] I might switch my paladin to a sorcerer at level 12...Since sorcerer spells are charisma based, maybe that would be a cool mix...Then I could make stuff with these silly spell components!!!

    I just got the game today and will start of as a Monk (I can already tell monks won't be overpowered like in BG2:SoA), but this post above mine made me wonder, can you dual Sorcerers in NVN?

    NWN uses the D&D 3rd Edition rules. With very few restrictions any race (including Humans) can multiclass to any number of classes. In NWN this is restricted to 3 different classes.

    There is no such thing as the dual class of the 2nd Edition rules (like the BG games).

    the only way i know to make magic items is with the dwarf on chapter 1 (under the shining knights store), but you could use the tool set.

    Wylo, there are item creation feats, so as a spellcaster you can make items yourself. If I got it right from what BTA said, this is in the game. Sorry for not replying sometime before, got all busy.

    Yeah Tal, of course, but it's the minor things, like perform not being class skills for rogue anymore, the bastard sword cannot be used twohanded (with or without exotic feat). The weapon specialization doesn't require 4 fighter levels anymore
