Maximum Level?

    I'm playing Hordes and got to level 20 with my barbarian, and it says 'Maximum Level' even though I now have 215,000 XP, which should be level 21, right? But I haven't advanced.

    What gives? Do you have to fulfill certain requirements to get level 21, and epic levels? I looked in the manuel and did some searches and couldn't find anything.

    You may have just maxed out the class of Barbarian. Which just might be a possibility, to become an epic character, you might have to go dual class. Best of Luck :)

    Level 40 is max. level.
    You can be a pure lvl 40 barbarian if you wish, multiclassing isn't at all nessicary, and race doesn't have a matter in this.

    Maybe you weren't listening. Fourth Hussars has a problem. Saying he doesn't will not help. :rolleyes: And demi-humans have maximum level limits (at least in D&D), so race at least might matter, depending on whether that was coded into the game or not.

    I have never heard of this problem. But I would be very interested in the answer. Must be something to do with epic levels.

    I was just bringing facts, if i could help him solve the problem, i would.
    There's no race/class limits at all in NWN pre 40, so perhaps you got something that you throwed in yourself (ex. downloading a hakpak and applying it to the HotU campaign).
    My apologies if my answer didn't help you, but as i said... I see the problmen at hand, however i do not know what caused it so i bring facts about what others may think about this problem.

    Actually it wasn't really a problem at all; on the server that I was running the max level had simply been set at 20. All I had to do was change it to 40.

    My character was/is a half-orc, and I have since finished the campaign, and all is well in my neverwinter world.
