[IMG] The manual seems to state that bards gain epic spells with enough Spellcraft, just as wizards and sorcerers do. My Spellcraft is now 36, and I still have no epic spells, and wish I had put the points into Perform instead. Anyone have a similar experience?

The manual is wrong. In order to get Epic Spells a Bard has to have 15 levels of Palemaster. It is not fair I know but that is the way that it is. According to WOTC this is the way it has to be.

It's perfectly fair. Epic spells are essentially 10th level spells so why should a Bard be able to get them without first having worked to get 7th, 8th, and 9th level spells?
