ok so i KNOW there's no "best" class combo, just trying to get a discussion going.

I've got a 13th lv Paladin I'm considering multiclassing into Cleric to get super-healing and summoning abilities. Anyone think is is a good/bad idea?

    Well, I have a Ranger 1/Barb 1/ Druid 9 going right now online. I'll make him a 1 ranger/1 barbarian/18 druid(raged as an elder elemental? Hoo ya!)

I have a wizard /ranger/ paladin in the SP(for the immunity to disease and the sweet saving throws)

[IMG] Why bother? Everyone's doing this or that combo to get as powerful a character as the game will allow. When, or rather if, I multi-class my rogue it'll be to get an interesting character, nothing else. But I'm the first to admit that this strategy sometimes makes survival difficult. Rogue/Priest is an interesting combination. Never tried it myself (because it wasn't allowed in old AD&D). Anyone tried it?
