When I hit ctrl+9 my PC's change to various creatures. Things such as "Death Knight", "Lich" or various NPC's.

Is there a point to this or is it just an amusement? I know it's a lot of fun running around killing everything in sight with some of the more bizzare charaters but is that about it?

And just an after thought. A more serious question. Without spoiling it, how many 'infernal machine' parts are required to be found in the tower?

Well AFAIK that cheat does not grant you the powers of that monster, it just changes your avatar: You are still yourself only you look different, can be coool for RPGing but it has no in-game effect.

What 'İnfernal machine parts' are they? I do not know HoF. :p

Having to trudge up and down all over Seldarine to try and find pieces of junk that may just fit a machine you can't make head nor tail of ... no wonder he doesn't like it :heh:

[IMG] Yup, that atstrolab machine is an infernal machine alright. I'll have to go check the walkthrough.

An aside though, when I changed my main character to the DeathKight he could take out any of the monsters in the tower with one strike. I thought it changed the to hit AC level. ???? And the changed character moves a whole lot faster than the rest of the group as well. I just can't figure out how to change back without reloading to an earlier save. But it does look cool and kinda entertaining for a little while.

Ctrl+R restores full health or resurrects a character with full hp.

And it dispels any kind of effect on the target? Maybe it can restore cheated changed players as well?

Don't know. Haven't really tried playing around with it for actual game play. Tried it a couple times just to see what it does on a side quest. Never tried to see if it would cure or remove a curse or anything of that nature.

I thought the character animation changes only lasted until you quited the game ? think thats how it worked in BG1 at least, you could change your avatar to whatever, save, leave game, and go back to game and get the old avatar. if not just use dalekeeper or NI.
