[IMG] I've managed to do something incredibly stupid. I tried to reinstall this game but it ****ed up for some reason, leaving it half-installed (i.e. when you put the disc in it gives you the options to play/uninstall, but not letting you do either). When I tried to uninstall it, it refused to, telling me that the install log was corrupted or something like that. I deleted the whole folder but it still gives me the same menu, except this time it says that the install log is missing (obviously, I deleted it). Any ideas on how to get out of this limbo?

You don't by any chance have another pc where you could install, then copy the whole s*** to a cd or direct via cable or the like and then just uninstall again?

If you don't have another computer handy: Is Torment still present in the Control Panel? (Click Start -> Control Panel -> Add or Remove Programs)

If so, try selecting "Planescape - Torment" and clicking "Edit/Remove". That might remove the game info from the Windows Registry so Winblows no longer thinks Torment is installed on your computer.

(My next idea would be to delete the game from the Registry using the Regedit application, but that is not recommended unless you know what you're doing or don't mind having to reinstall Windows from scratch if you delete the wrong keys......)

Cheers guys. I tried Add/Remove programs but it gives me the same message. I'm going to try out RegCleaner, it seems a bit more user friendly than Regedit. Wish me luck...
