I just started the game and don't have a lock pick. Can you tell me where I can get one?

And what exactly are "thieves tools" used for?

    Thanks

I was under the impression that thieves tools counted as everything a thief would need, including a lockpick.

Err, I don't know much about ToEE, but I shall have a google.

It seems that you should already have a set of Thieves Tools in your bag.

I should, yes, playing the original version of the game. But I use the circle of eight patches which change things slightly, You get enough money and the opprtunity to buy everything before you begin the game... but I forgot.

And I restarted this game like five times already and I've only had it two days and was rather trying to avoid it again, if nessecary I will have to do that. I just presumed there would someone selling one somewhere (as every rpg does).

I tried google, I couldn't find any information.

    Ahhhh, I see the problem.

You can pick up a set of Thieves Tools at the moathouse relatively early in the game, as far as I remember. if you're determined not to restart, that could be a viable option.

You won't need the thieves tools until the moathouse anyway.
