I have basically a 10-11-12 level party. What level should my party be to go to Windspear Hills and be effective? I want the Holy Avenger for Keldorn before I go to Chapter 4. (I'm on 2) What level would I have to be to defeat Firkraag? I'm almost done with all the quests (new NPC's not included) I have to do Cult of the Unseeing eye, Planar sphere, and Harper Hold. Then if i can I'll do Windspear Hills. I remember that was tough. If I can get into the Mind Flayer Dungeon in the sewers I'll have Crom Feyr which I'll give to Anomen. I have me level 11 mage/level 12 rogue, Minsc level 10 Ranger, Keldorn level 10 paladin, Jaheira level 9 fighter/ level 11 druid, Aerie level 10 cleric/ level 11 mage and Anomen level 7 fighter/ almost 12 cleric. This is my favorite party I'vee played so far in all my playthroughs. Any advice would be welcome. P.S. Where do I get a potion Bag? And any advice to happen upon a good amount of gold....

FOr the potion bag I believe you will have to go Watcher's Keep. As for your party it really depends on how well you can use your party's strength. I have done that quest in the level range but that may not mean you can it all depends on items and your skill with your party's particular skills.

My advice is to make sure you have the amulet of power or else have a way to deal with level drain and have some +3 weapons for some enemies inside.

For your party I would want to have full ability to use set traps with your thief. That alone can decimate a dragon. I would also need to have breach and ruby ray of reversal ready so that the drops can hit successfully (my experience seems to show that stone skin can prevent the damage from a trap though that seems odd). Reduce magic resistance spells will allow you to hit a dragon with more spells my favorites include things like the simple magic missile (including using things like sequencers to get more out faster) as each magic missile spell cast will average around 17.5 damage which means 2 characters both using minor sequencer will average about 70 damage (assuming you already lowered magic resistance so that the missiles all hit). You can also put a few summons near him so he unleashes his early stuff on them instead of your buffed characters (he may death spell your first summon when you first cast so keep that in mind).
