Civ IV and Diablo II have been interrupted the last couple days with some old school video games, like Up 'n' Down, Pac Man, Tetris, 1942 and Mr. Do.

I'm on the final battle of IWD 2. I was really close to beating it last time I played, then my wee dudes got killed quite a few times. I screamed a little and decided to wait a while until I played it again. Hopefully I'll beat it today.

Beat IWD 2 yesterday. It was hard! I think I'll be starting a new run through of SoA and ToB soon providing I can get it to work, otherwise I may start a new PS:T game (considering I've never completed ToB or PS:T. I've had an urge for IE games since playing IWD2 to completion)

Finally installed Hellgate: London this afternoon. Looks like an interesting game to work in the rotation.

Hell gate is like an RPG, but it's more ov an over the shoulder perspective. It controls like an FPS.

I also installed Warcraft III on the weekend. I'm about halfway through the Undead Campaign (if I remember right, I got bogged down at the end of the Undead game).

Finally got myself Dungeon Siege (well, Legends of Aranna really - turned out to be cheaper than Dungeon Siege, for some reason) and installed and started Ultima 5: Lazarus. So far I am seriously impressed. The world is HUGE. Because it's one-size (like Ultima 6-7, as opposed to the older ones) it feels much bigger than in the original game. I've not really gone very far into the game because I'm having so much fun just wondering around the continent talking to people and exploring every nook and cranny (which may take all year at this rate).

Mostly NBA Live 06... I'm gonna try to start another run at Tutu, but I don't think it's ever getting off the ground.

Took a small break from Lazarus to try the actual Dungeon Siege game. I played for about an hour and realised I was falling asleep at the computer. I think many of us have played rail shooters but I'd never before played a rail RPG. The learn-by-doing skill system is fun and the game is technically well-done, but there's not much gaming involved. It's so linear and requires so little player input that it feels more like watching a movie. I'm now even more impressed with the Team Lazarus for having changed one of the most linear RPGs into something as open-ended as a remake of Ultima 5.
