Wanting to get more into my Dark Elves, I've never really had much chance to play with them but looking forward to using them more in the new edition of Warhammer. I'm basing my army around a Sorceress of each lore they can take, perhaps a bit cruel, but still... Also each of them will have a different set of items they will draw from in a battle and a different mount specific to them. For example Saurneth I used in one of my Fluff War entries, she's a Sorceress who focuses on Chamon - the Lore of Metal and has also undergone numerous sacrifices to be able to ride a Cold One of her own. She is pierced numerous times and adorned with chains as a symbol of her mastery of metal and pain and her mount will probably also have similar adornments. Daer simply delights in causing fear and confusion within her enemies and focuses on the Lore of Shadow and rides a dark steed to get around quickly, she often remains masked and cloaked, to further leave her foes wondering as to who she truly is. Karin is ruthless and methodical, her robes adorned with flaming motifs and her pegasus - her most prized possession - is branded with runes and sigils of power. She rides and surveys the battlefields from a higer vantage point then focuses her immolation from the lore of fire upon specific targets she beleives to be most worthy of burning. She lets no stragglers pass and will hunt them down with her blade if required. Meth comes from a line of beastmasters, and still retains her fondness for great beasts and scourges, she delights in the hunt and rides a Manticore, a beast supposedly a manifestation of Kaela Mensha Khaine himself, the God of murder. Few are brave or foolish enough to ride such a beast and teamed with her specialty within the Lore of Death, she is simply dangerous. Syrida is a Sorceress who simply follows the dark arts, the Lore of Dark Magic as taught by the most basic coven tenants she seeks to specialise within this area, she is happy to enter combat on foot or on a steed supplied to her by the coven for particular battles she is sent to lead, but the pride of her family and her achievments is the ownership of a great Black Dragon, she rarely leaves for true danger with this great beast, her concern is selfish, for such a creature is hard to replace and is an example of great prestige and honour.
