I can't believe it! There are still things I have not seen in this game! I have played through it more times than I know of and I am still uncovering new and interesting dialogs.

Apperently if you take Jan to the druid grove he will recognize that the old woman with the potions is an illusion. He states something to the effect "why would an old women have a head of a tiger?" Although this doesn't sound like too big of a deal, I was still stunned for a moment.

Anyone else have moments like this? I truly believe they broke the mold with this game. Actually, there was no mold to even break. Truly the most in-depth game I have ever played.

Well, it is the best game in the world.

There isn't many things that suprises me when I'm playing BG2 nowdays because when I had finished it twice I started to read all walktroughs there was.

I've played through it 15 times now and still loves it.

I played the game about 3 times before reading 1/2 dozen walkthroughs. But even when i play it through now i find other amazing new things. For example i never new that jan would say what you said he says. Looks like i'll have to play it through a few more times ;) .

If you talk to the djinn in Trademeet you will find they have something to do with this tiger-headed woman...

You didn't hear it from me

The first time I had Viconia in my party was quite a surprise. She had quite a few interactions in the Underdark as well as with Elhan.

Her comment after encountering Drizzt though was priceless. Something to the effect that despite him being a hero and all that, she still found him yummy. I lost it!

[IMG] In fact, having Jan along for the Grove trip made the quest easier. Once he notices her illusions the tiger people immediatly attack. I was concerned at first that this would mess up the djinn quest. But upon completing the druid quest and being directed to the djinn, the djinn immediatly sensed the head and I was given the reward with one less trip to the grove.

I like less trips. Thank you Jan! :thumb:

Well, rakshasa's are masters of illusions. And Jan himself is... an illusionist. No wonder that he recognizes them.

[IMG] I have played through eight times and far as I know I have found all the dialogue options. I have done all the quests and still find it fun as I roleplay through.

Doesn't Jan see through the Rakshasa's disguise because of his Detect Illusion ability, enhanced by his goggles, or something?

Well, it's kinda different, because he unmasks them through the dialogue. And you can take his goggles off and he will recognize them anyway :)

I suppose Keldorn's true sight ability allows him to see through the illusions...

I'll have to take him along and see.

[IMG] No - it's only through dialogues, Paladins can sense her evil too, I think.
